
A Burke resident has been arrested in the shooting death of a woman at a Chick-fil-A in Woodbridge this morning.
Daniel Lunie Everette, 52, of 9149 Broken Oak Place in Burke, was arrested and charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in the death of his wife. Everette was estranged from the victim, Alice Jenkins Everette, 48, of Dumfries.
Police said that Alice Everette was in the drive-through when she was shot, with an eye witness in the car behind her. This is believed to be an isolated domestic incident.

The incident took place at the Chick-Fil-A at 2425 Prince William just before 9 a.m. The parking lot of the restaurant was roped off along with the turn lane into the shopping center from the parkway. Customers in the restaurant at the time of the shooting were released after questioning by police around 10:45 a.m.
