Crash Kills Dumfries Man In Fairfax Station: Police

A Dumfries man was killed Wednesday when his vehicle slammed into the back of dump truck on Ox Road in Fairfax Station, say police.

FAIRFAX STATION, VA—A Dumfries man was killed Wednesday morning when his vehicle slammed into the back of a dump truck on Ox Road near the Fairfax County Parkway, according to Fairfax County Police. Ryan Easterly, 28, was taken to a nearby hospital but died shortly thereafter.

Around 6:15 a.m., police went to the scene for a reported crash. They found a 2008 Acura was headed north on Ox Road and hit a dump truck that had slowed because of heavy traffic at the traffic light. Police say neither speed nor alcohol were factors, and that no charges are facing the dump truck driver.
