A $50,000 winning ticket in Monday's Powerball drawing was bought at a 7-Eleven in the Falls Church area, according to the Virginia Lottery.
FALLS CHURCH, VA — A $50,000 winning ticket in Monday's Powerball drawing was bought at a 7-Eleven store in the Falls Church area, according to the Virginia Lottery.
There was one $100,000 winning Virginia ticket in Monday's drawing in Charlottesville and five $50,000 winning tickets in Falls Church and elsewhere in the state.
The winning $50,000 ticket in the Falls Church area was bought at 7-Eleven at 7451 Patterson Road, behind the shopping center that houses the Trader Joe's west of the City of Falls Church.

The other winning $50,000 tickets in Virginia were bought at:
- Online on valottery.com, by a player in Henrico
- Bo’s Belly Barn, 925 East Main Street, Luray
- Handy Mart, 1462 North Frederick Pike, Winchester
- Royal Mart, 507 North Royal Avenue, Front Royal
The winning numbers in Monday night’s drawing were 5-11-22-23-69, and the Powerball number was 7.

One ticket, bought in Washington State, matched all six numbers in Monday's drawing to win the Powerball jackpot, which came out to $754.6 million.
Whoever bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize.
Powerball drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Prizes range from $2 up to the jackpot. The odds of matching all six numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338. The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 25.
