BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — A barricade involving a man with a knife in Bailey's Crossroads reported Sunday evening continued into Monday morning and ended in the afternoon, Fairfax County Police say.

The barricade happened in the 6000 block of Bellview Drive in Bailey's Crossroads. According to police, a man barricaded himself in his apartment after assaulting a victim with a bat. The victim has minor injuries.

Police worked into Monday to negotiate with the man. After 1 p.m., police said they had the man in custody.
