City of Falls Church Announces Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony

The ceremony is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m.

From City of Falls Church: The City of Falls Church is hosting a downtown tree lighting ceremony Monday, November 28, 2016 at 5:30 PM at the park by 116 W Broad Street (between Hunan Cafe and Hot & Juicy Crawfish). This event is free and open to the public. Come enjoy free hot apple cider, a fire pit, see Santa, City Council members and City officials and watch the downtown trees be lit for the holiday season.

Trees in the 100 and 200 blocks of W. Broad St. will be decorated with white holiday lights, creating a festive shopping and dining atmosphere near one of the Falls Church’s busiest intersections. The low-energy lights will remain lit at night until March and then removed to promote healthy tree growth.
