Crash Causes Hundreds Of Power Outages In Falls Church
There were over 300 power outages resulting from a crash, including several City of Falls Church government facilities.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Several City of Falls Church facilities are closed Friday due to a power outage from a crash.
The closures affect Falls Church City Hall (300 Park Ave.), the Mary Riley Styles Public Library (221 N. Virginia Ave.), and Gage House (401 Great Falls St.). The facilities will remain closed through Friday.
City employees who work in the building were asked to telework if possible.

City government wasn't the only place affected by the crash. Dominion Energy reported 336 customers experiencing power outages due to the crash. As of 10:45 a.m., 223 customers remained without power, with an estimated restoration between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The crash closed southbound N. Washington Street from Columbia Street to Park Avenue. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
