Dog Bite Incident Sunday in Front of Cherry Hill Park: Police Seek Information

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- The City of Falls Church Police Department, Animal Control Division seeks the identity of two dogs involved in a biting incident on Sunday, Nov. 13 at approximately 5 p.m., the City announced Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Park Avenue in front of Cherry Hill Park. The white female victim in her 70s sustained an injury to her hand when one of the two dogs bit her, the City said. The victim will have to undergo rabies inoculations starting Nov. 23 if the dogs are not located.
The dogs are described as black dogs -- one smaller than the other. The dogs were being walked on lead by their owners: a white male and a white female, possibly in their 30s, who were dressed casually. The owners of the dogs were were very nice to the victim and asked if she was okay, however, they did not identify themselves.
