Falls Church resident and cartoonist Kevin Rechin will hold a free cartooning workshop Thursday at ArtSpace from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Falls Church Arts is the sponsoring organization and a partner at ArtSpace Falls Church.
The workshop is open to all ages. Participants are asked to bring their own materials and everyone must register.
Rechin’s work has been viewed in a lot of places over the years. He was responsible for drawing Washington Nationals baseball players for an advertisement for the D.C. Lottery and he designed a superhero for the bedroom of two young boys appearing on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover Home Edition.”
