Falls Church, Arlington County Police Investigating Possible Explosive

City of Falls Church and the Arlington County Bomb Squad are investigating a possible explosive found in the 200 block of N. Virginia Ave.

While digging in their yard, a Falls Church resident found an alleged explosive, according to Susan Finarelli, city spokeswoman. Police closed the street and surrounding area including Cherry Hill Park until the investigation is complete.
