Falls Church Field Hockey Player Amongst Best in Region

Goalie Carly Pertrazzuolo is in the All-Met's top five at her position.

There aren’t many things that get by Carly Pertrazzuolo and it drives opponents of the Falls Church High field hockey team crazy.

Pertrazzuolo, a junior, is the fourth rated goalie in the Washington Post’s All-Met this season. Though the Jaguars only have one win on the season, Pertrazzuolo has racked up 127 saves on the season and averages between five and 10 saves a game.

The third year player communicates with the team’s defense and offense and never misses practice, said Head Coach Erin Peer.
