Falls Church HS Teacher Sold Vape Cartridges With Nicotine, THC To Students: Police

Between December 2023 and June 2024, she sold vape cartridges with nicotine and THC to four students, police say.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A Falls Church High School teacher was arrested in connection with selling vape cartridges with nicotine and THC to multiple students, Fairfax County police said.

Detectives probing a Child Protective Services referral last October found that between December 2023 and June 2024, Kaitlyn Cresent, 28, of Alexandria, sold vape cartridges with nicotine and THC to four students, according to police.

Cresent was arrested on Dec. 30 and charged with distribution of a controlled substance on school property, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and distribution of tobacco/hemp to a minor.

Cresent was placed on administrative leave and is no longer employed with Fairfax County Public Schools, police said.

She was held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $4,000 bond.

Its not clear if she has legal representation.

Detectives want to speak with anyone who may have information about her case.
