Falls Church Police Renew Accreditation in Virginia

The City of Falls Church Police Department has earned their accreditation through the Virginia Law Enforcement Accreditation Program.

The department had to maintain their accreditation files on an on-going basis and provide annual verifications of compliance amongst other things to earn the accreditation.

According to the Virginia accreditation officials, for an agency to maintain accredited status, an intensive on-site assessment of its policies and operations is required every four years to assure that the agency remains in compliance.
