Falls Church's Idylwood Plaza Gaining New Businesses In 2024

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Idylwood Plaza, the Whole Foods-anchored shopping center between Falls Church and Tysons, is gaining several new businesses in 2024.

First to open is MIYU Beauty & Wellbeing at 7505-P Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA, according to shopping center owner Federal Realty Investment Trust. MIYU," which means beautiful" in Japanese, offers non-toxic, vegan friendly nail care as well as yoga, mat Pilates and reformer Pilates classes for all experience levels. the new business is founded by managing partners Zeina Chouman El Eid and Karen Abouzeid.

"We offer a tranquil haven and safe space to empower everyone," said Abouzeid. "MIYU’s skilled and experienced staff will guide our clients towards self-realization and unmatched confidence, while connecting them with like-minded individuals who share a passion for holistic living."

A grand opening will be held Friday, Feb. 2 at 4:30 p.m. City of Falls Church Mayor Letty Hardi and City Council member Marybeth Connelly are expected to attend, according to Federal Realty.

Along with MIYU, two restaurants will open at Idylwood Plaza. First Watch and Chicken Salad Chic are targeted to open in the last quarter of 2024. First Watch is a fast-casual café for breakfast and lunch, while Chicken Salad Chic offers scratch-made Southern-style chicken salads, pimento cheese and more.
