Families, Foodies to Celebrate 'Taste of Falls Church' at Fall Festival

Event will take place Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Community Center grounds.

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- The annual autumn tradition returns, better than ever!The City of Falls Church Taste of Falls Church at the Fall Festival will be this Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Community Center (223 Little Falls St.).

Admission is free for all; amusement rides and tasting require the purchase of one or more tickets. The weekly Farmers Market runs concurrently from 8 a.m. to Noon. The festivities are held rain or shine. Taste tickets are now on sale at the Community Center.

  • 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm -- Big Tow, cover band, blues, jazz, classic rock, creole, rockabilly, alternative
  • 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm -- Zakke, Latin fusion
  • 3 pm to 4 pm -- 40 Thieves, Irish rock and rock 'n roll fusion

Mobu Kids returns as the sponsor of the free Children's Activity Tent, near the main stage. Stop by for crafts, coloring, and more fun for kids of all ages!Members of the City Council will be at the information booth for a meet-and-greet from noon to 1pm. Stop by to say hello, ask questions, and pick up flyers.

Learn more about the City Hall Public Space and Safety Improvements project at the pop-up tent near the information booth. Staff and the architecture firm will be on hand to answer questions and display at digital walk-through of the preliminary design.
