FIVE THINGS: Sunset Cinema Kicks Off Friday

1-    The City of Falls Church Planning Committee will meet Monday at City Hall at 7:45 p.m.

2-    City council will not meet Monday night. They will next meet at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4 a in City Hall for a work session. Here is the agenda for the meeting.

3-    The city kicks off its ninth annual Sunset Cinema series on Aug. 24. Over the next three Fridays in Cherry Hill Park, families can come out for a free feature film. Moviegoers are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics. Popcorn, candy, and drinks will be available for purchase. For more information call 703-248-5027 (TTY 711).

4-    From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 24 at , the Department of Motor Vehicles' (DMV) mobile customer service center, DMV 2 Go, will be on-site to provide all DMV transactions.
