Five Things You Need to Know Today: March 8

1. Free double-ground leaf mulch and hard-wood mulch is available at the Recycling Center (217 Gordon Road). City-residents, non-residents and business owners may pick up mulch any day of the week between 7 a.m. and dusk, provided they haul it themselves. Leaf Mulch Loading Day is Saturday, March 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., where city staff will be available to load any open bed vehicle or trailer.
2. March 16^th is the final date for mulch orders if you wish your mulch to be delivered to your home by the  Boy Scouts the weekend of March 23rd-24th 2012. Falls Church Troop 895 is in the final week of its 13th Annual Fundraising Mulch sale. Bags containing 3 cubic feet of double processed hardwood mulch are offered for sale at a price of $4.85 delivered!  Delivery area includes Falls Church City and adjacent areas of Fairfax County and Arlington.
