Guns, Cash, Jewelry Stolen in Daytime Burglary in Falls Church Area: Police

Police were called when the resident got home from work to find that someone had broken into his home by forcing open a window.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police report that a Falls Church area home was burglarized Tuesday when someone forced entry through a window while the resident was away at work.

The burglary took place sometime between 8:40 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Grove Avenue (see map below), according to police.

The homeowner reported that while at work, someone forced entry through a window and took property including guns, cash and jewelry. The incident is under investigation.
