Jaguars Soccer Coach Wins National District Coach of the Year
Falls Church High wins coaching top honor in his first season at the helm of the boy's soccer team.

Kris Benton probably had no thoughts of being named National District Coach of the Year but that’s just what the first year coach did. With a 10-3-2 record on the year for , Benton ran away with the award.
The second-year math teacher at the school led his team to a top 10 ranking in the Washington Post and a two seed in the district tournament.
Debo Burk, chair of the math department, said Benton treats his students with respect and they respect him back.
