Man Found Unconscious 'Decontaminated' at Inova Fairfax Tuesday Morning

If you saw a large number of emergency vehicles at INOVA Fairfax Tuesday morning, the County was "decontaminating" a patient, likely acting out of an abundance of caution.

The man was found unconscious with particles of laundry detergent on his person, according to a spokesman for Prince William County Police.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue took precautionary measures, choosing to "decontaminate" the man, according to a post by the County on social media. Information about what that decontamination involved or what the county suspected the substance might be was not available.

"As far as what they're [Fairfax County Fire and Rescue] doing, it's not a hazmat situation, we told them it's not," the spokesman for Prince William County said.
