New Fast Casual Mediterranean Coming To Falls Church Area

The Tysons Station shopping center in Pimmit Hills is gaining a new fast casual dining option.

PIMMIT HILLS, VA — The shopping center area between Falls Church and Tysons is gaining a new fast casual dining option.

Taim Mediterranean Kitchen is opening Thursday at the Tysons Station shopping center, 7502 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA. A grand opening will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, according to the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce.

The restaurant chain specializes in customizable pitas, bowls and salads as well as sides like fries, and seasoned pita served with tzatziki, red pepper babaganoush and hummus. Food is made from scratch using a variety of Mediterranean herbs and spices. That can be paired with Taim's signature drink, its homemade ginger mint lemonade.

Taim was first opened in New York City's West Village neighborhood in 2005. It has since expanded to more New York City locations as well as in New Jersey, DC and Maryland. The Falls Church area location will be the first in Virginia.
