Road Closures for Charity Race on Saturday, Nov. 19 in Falls Church

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- A number of roads closures will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19 in the City, as a result of a local church's 5k run, the City announced Monday. The race is a 5k run and 3k walk starting at 8 a.m. Starting at about 6:30 a.m., the following roadblocks will be set up through the duration of the race:

• N. Maple Ave. at Great Falls St.
• N. Maple Ave. at James Thurber Ct. NOTE: Vehicles will be permitted to turn south to Great Falls St.
• N. Maple Ave. at W. Columbia St.
• N. Maple Ave. at W. Jefferson St.
• Little Falls St. at W. Columbia St.
• Little Falls St. at Shadow Walk NOTE: Vehicles will be permitted to turn north onto Little Falls St.
• Little Falls St. at N. Four Mile Run Dr.
• Great Falls St. at Pennsylvania Ave.
• N. Oak St. at Fulton Ave.
• N. Spring St. at Fulton Ave.
• N. West St. at W&OD Trail
• Grove Ave. at W&OD Trail
• N. West St. at Lincoln Ave.
• Lincoln Ave. at N. Spring St.
• Lincoln Ave. at N. Oak St.
• Lincoln Ave. at Great Falls St.
• W. Jefferson St. at N. Washington St.
• W. Columbia St. at N. Washington St.

The City of Falls Church Police Department appreciates the public's cooperation with the road closures, helping to ensure the safety of the race participants and volunteers. Roads will reopen at approximately 10 a.m.
