SCOREBOARD: Mount Vernon Tops Falls Church 34-12
Early heavy rain slows Jaguars passing attack.
The Falls Church Jaguars, playing without starting signal caller Adam Daly and in heavy downpours early in the first half, lost 34-12 at Mount Vernon High Friday.
Sophomore quarterback Brian Eck got the call after Daly was ruled out of the game with a leg injury.
The Jaguars found themselves down 20-0 at half time in sloppy conditions.
