Seven Corners Armed Robbery Suspect Tied To Another Robbery
Police say a suspect arrested after a Seven Corners robbery was linked to another massage parlor robbery in Fairfax County.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A suspect arrested and charged for an armed robbery in Seven Corners has been linked to another robbery at a massage parlor.
Mohamed Tahir, 33, of Falls Church, had been identified as the suspect in a Sept. 2, 2023 robbery at the Deep Blue Massage, 6105 Arlington Boulevard in Seven Corners. According to police, a man with a gun and taser had entered the massage parlor, assaulted two employees and took money. The employees were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Surveillance footage of the suspect helped detectives identify Tahir as the suspect. Tahir was arrested that night and charged with robbery, strangulation, and two counts of abduction by force.

Detectives later found Tahir matched the description and behavior of a suspect from a 2021 robbery. The robbery happened around 10 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2021 at the Blue Therapy Massage, 5532 Hempstead Way in Springfield. Police say a suspect armed with a gun assaulted and robbed two victims.
Detectives obtained warrants for the 2021 robbery charging Tahir with robbery, strangulation, two counts of abduction by force, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Tahir was arrested Thursday and is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
