George Mason’s defense was too much for the eighth seeded Goochland High Wednesday as the Mustangs won 68-35.

The Mustangs advance to the semifinals Friday night against Central Woodstock. The game will be held at Strasburg High at 7 p.m.

Senior Lauren Kane led the Mustangs in scoring with 20-points and junior Stephanie Cheney scored 13-points. Ashley Alexander scored 10-points in Mason’s win.
