- City Council Work Session: Tuesday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Dogwood Room of City Hall
- Planning Commission: Tuesday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers of City Hall
Community Center closed
The City Community Center is closed through Saturday, Sept. 3. The Community Center will be closed for its annual cleaning. It will however, be open for individuals who wish to register for fall classes and activities. All other services, including the Senior Center, Teen Center, and Open Gym, will be unavailable. The Community Center will be completely closed on both Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5.

Normal hours at the Community Center will resume Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The Mary Riley Styles Public Library will be closed both Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5.
Although the library will be closed, online services like Overdrive eBooks, Freegal Music, and Zinio Digital Magazines, will be available.
