Woman Followed Home, Assaulted In Bailey's Crossroads: Police
Fairfax County Police say a suspect followed a woman home from MGM National Harbor and assaulted her.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — Fairfax County Police have charged a man after a woman was followed home and assaulted in Bailey's Crossroads.
Police had responded around 12:31 a.m. on Dec. 8 to a home in the 5700 block of Poplar Lane. According to police, the victim was leaving MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland and was approached by the suspect. According to police, the suspect was not acquainted with the victim. They talked briefly before she drove home.
But the victim later found out she was being followed. The victim noticed a car following her due to one headlight being brighter than the other. She believed it was the suspect from MGM National Harbor and tried to lose the vehicle.

When the victim got home, the suspect approached from behind and assaulted her, according to police. The victim broke free and went into her home, but the suspect broke a glass panel in the door. He was not able to get into the home and fled.
Detectives' investigation and surveillance footage led police to identify the suspect as Antiero Ebai Menyoli 29, of Maryland. Menyoli was arrested in Prince George’s County, Maryland on Tuesday. He was charged with burglary, assault, and destruction of property and will be extradited to Fairfax County.
