2 Suspects In Central Park Shooting Arrested By Fredericksburg Police
Fredericksburg Police arrested two suspects in connection to the June 23 shooting at Central Park.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg Police arrested two suspects in connection to the June 23 shooting with injuries at Central Park, according to authorities.
On June 23, officers responded around 10:15 p.m. to the 1100 block of Central Park Boulevard for the report of a shooting with injury, according to the incident report.
Once they were on the scene, the officers found one juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to police. The family later reported that the victim was in stable condition.

Camron Robinson, 20, of King George County, whom investigators had previously identified as a suspect in the case, turned himself in to authorities, according to a release.

Police charged Robinson with aggravated malicious wounding, discharge of a firearm in a public place and discharge and a felony charge of use or display of firearm in the commission of a felony.
Robinson was arraigned in Fredericksburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Monday and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 8.
The aggravated malicious wounding charge is a Class 2 felony, which carries a potential punishment of imprisonment for life or for any term not less than 20 years and, subject to subdivision, as well as a fine of not more than $100,000, under the Code of Virginia.
The discharge of a firearm charge is a Class 6 felony. If convicted, Robinson could face a sentence of one to five years in prison, but the court also has the option to impose a sentence of up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500

As part of their investigation, police also arrested 19-year-old Nevaeh Minor of Spotsylvania County. She was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and accessory after the fact, according to police.
Minor was also arraigned on Monday morning in Fredericksburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and has a preliminary hearing set for Aug. 6.

The conspiracy charge is a Class 5 felony. If convicted on this charge, she faces a potential sentence of one to 10 years in prison, or up to 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $2,500, under Virginia law. The accessory after the fact in a felony charge is a Class 1 misdemeanor and carries a potential penalty of up to one year in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500.
Both Robinson and Minor were held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
