Bloody Baseball Bat Found After Women Attacked, Teen Charged in Stafford
Both women in serious condition with severe wounds to the head and face in weekend attack, according to Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — A teen is accused of attacking two women with a wooden baseball bat Friday night, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
The 15-year-old male, whose name has not been released, is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding. He was reportedly a foster child in the home where the women were found Friday night. He was taken into custody late Friday and is being held at the juvenile detention center, according to a SCSO statement.
Deputies responded at 9:07 p.m. Friday to the home on Carriage Hill Drive. They found one victim on the ground in front of the garage. The 41-year-0ld woman was bleeding profusely from her head and face, according to the sheriff's office.

A second victim, 86, was found at the top of the stairs inside the house. She had also suffered severe wounds to her head and face.
The search of the house revealed a wooden baseball bat with what appeared to be blood stains on it, according to investigators.

The teen was not at home when police arrived. He was located nearly two hours later at a home in the 1400 block of Truslow Road and taken into custody.
