Boy Arrested After Stealing Car In Stafford: Police
A 15-year-old boy was arrested Thursday after stealing a running vehicle Wednesday in Stafford, says the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA—A 15-year-old boy was arrested Thursday after stealing a running vehicle Wednesday in the 200 block of Regina Lane, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. He was charged with grand larceny, obstruction of justice and vehicle tampering.
On Wednesday, police responded to the aforementioned area for a reported stolen vehicle. A woman said she had left it running while parked outside her home. Police canvassed the area and spotted it in the 500 block of Kensington Drive. When the driver saw police, he bailed and fled on foot.
Police searched the surrounding area, including a Giant grocery store at 35 Town and Country Drive, to no avail. Afterward, police received a tip about his identity, found him and arrested him.
