Cooler, But Not Cool: Virginia Weather Forecast

With the heat wave waning, the rest of the week will still see 90+ heat and storm chances, according to the National Weather Service.

The worst of this heat wave is likely behind us, not that you'll notice the difference. We'll likely continue sweating through the rest of the week, according to forecasts.

It'll still be a few days before we see temperatures drop back to the 80s, but we're going to get a little distance from the three-digit heat index, according to the National Weather Service.

By Friday, we should finally see a little relief from the heat, according to The Weather Channel, with temperatures nearing averages.
