Fredericksburg-Area Schools Alter Tuesday Schedule

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Due to expected snow, public schools in Fredericksuburg, Stafford and Spotsylvania have altered their Tuesday schedules:

FREDERICKSBURG: "Due to the possibility of hazardous road conditions tomorrow afternoon, Fredericksburg City Schools will close TWO HOURS EARLY on Tuesday, January 29. All after-school activities are cancelled."

STAFFORD COUNTY: "There is a 2 hour early release on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 for all SCPS private day schools attending classes in Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg due to potential inclement weather. All after school and evening activities are canceled. The Superintendent's FY 20 Budget presentation and the Work Session on Elementary Redistricting will continue to take place. "

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY: "Due to the forecasted inclement weather, all Spotsylvania County Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Elementary will dismiss at 12:30 p.m., Middle will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. and High will dismiss at 11:15 a.m."
