Fredericksburg Crime: Firefighter Gear Stolen

Someone stole firefighter gear from a vehicle on Bunker Hill Street over the weekend, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department

A resident on the 500 block reported that an unknown person stole the firefighter gear from her vehicle between Saturday and Sunday at 11:25 a.m. According to Officer Natatia L. Bledsoe, a spokesperson for the department, police have no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Bottom Dollar, 515 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 6/7 1:30 p.m. A city resident reported that her cell phone was stolen from her shopping cart. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

100 block Greystone Ct, 5/31 – 6/7 4:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole two pieces of jewelry from her apartment. The investigation is ongoing.

Joe’s Crab Shack, 2805 Plank Rd, 6/8 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person shattered a window on her vehicle and stole her purse. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

AT&T, 1601 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/8 4:10 p.m. An employee reported that three male subjects entered the store and stole two cell phones from a display. The investigation is ongoing.

R&R Antiques, 1001 Caroline St, 6/3 – 6/7 1:15 p.m. The building superintendent reported that an unknown person damaged the door and lock to the utility room located on the roof. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Heritage Park, 6/8 2:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person flattened all four tires on her vehicle and scratched the paint. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block Cobblestone Blvd, 6/9 5:25 p.m. A resident reported that he witnessed rocks being thrown over the retaining wall, and one of the rocks shattered the window of a parked vehicle. The witness could not provide a suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
