Fredericksburg Manufacturer To Expand Operations, Create 98 New Jobs

Virginia Jobs Investment Program is helping Aspetto, Inc. to move its corporate headquarters and expand its operations in Stafford County.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — With the help of the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, a Fredericksburg-based manufacturer will soon be relocating and expanding its corporate headquarters in Stafford County.

Aspetto, Inc., which manufactures tactical gear and provides cybersecurity and IT services for defense agencies, will sign a lease for 5,300-square-foot office space and adjacent 3,000-square-foot manufacturing warehouse at 150 Riverside Parkway in Fredericksburg.

This move will not only allow the company to consolidate and expand its operations, it will also create 98 new jobs, according to a release from Governor Glenn Youngkin’s office.

“Aspetto's decision to expand its headquarters operation in Stafford County reinforces Virginia's position as a leader in both defense manufacturing and cybersecurity,” Youngkin said. “This homegrown Virginia company has successfully evolved to meet the changing needs of defense agencies, and their continued investment in the Commonwealth demonstrates the strength of Virginia's technology and manufacturing talent pool.”

Founded 16 years ago in the Fredericksburg region, Aspetto’s current headquarters is located at 1691 Emancipation Highway.

Working with Stafford County and the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance, the Virginia Economic Development Partnership was able to secure funding and services through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program. This state investment will help support Aspetto’s employee recruitment and training activities.
