Skimming Devices Found at Caroline Gas Station: Sheriff's Office
A gas station skimmer was located this week in Caroline County, according to local law enforcement. A routine inspection Tuesday found a skimming device planted in three of the pumps, according to the Caroline County Sheriff's Office.

"Unfortunately, in this case, there was not much our citizens could do to prevent becoming a victim," Sheriff Tony Lippa said. "The devices recovered in this case were installed inside the pumps and were not visible." >>> Read more.

Fairfax City Mayor Scott Silverthorne is accused of offering meth to undercover officers in exchange for a sexual encounter, according to Fairfax County Police. He is one of three suspects arrested in the bust, investigators announced Friday morning.
According to investigators, Silverthorne allegedly offered the meth in exchange for what he believed would be a group sexual encounter Thursday at a Tysons Corner hotel. >>> Read more.
