Golf for the Animals
The August 29 tournament benefits the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA.
Play a little golf, have a great time and raise money for a good cause. J. Brian's Tap Room is hosting a golf tournament at 1 p.m. August 29 at the Fredericksburg Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA.
The cost is $100 per player, which includes greens fee, cart, golf shirt and post-tournament party. The tournament will be played in teams of four.

- The 18th Annual Cats Closest "People's Choice" Photo Contest. Voting ends Aug. 31.
- The 15th Annual Walk for the Animals on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Maury Stadium.
- Two for One, Double the Fun, Black Cat Sale through September 30.
