Gone In 60 Seconds: Firearms Stolen Via Crash-And-Grab At VA Pawn Shop
Four masked suspects crashed a car into the front of a Fredericksburg pawn shop and stole multiple firearms in under a minute, police say.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — An undisclosed number of firearms were stolen in under a minute after a vehicle crashed through the front of a Fredericksburg-area pawn shop early Monday morning, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 3:07 a.m. to an alarm at Pawn King located at 4401 Plank Road. A vehicle had breached the front of the business and then backed out and left before deputies arrived, according to the incident report.
The 2013 Hyundai with Maryland tags that had been used to crash through the front of the store was later found to have been stolen from Maryland.

"Deputies conducted a search of the business but found no suspects on scene," according to the report. "Multiple firearms appeared to have been stolen. With assistance from store employees and video surveillance, investigators learned that at least four masked individuals entered the business and stole an undisclosed number of weapons. The burglary took approximately 60 seconds from entry to exit."
Investigators are continuing to review video footage and collect evidence.
