Group Terrorizes Woman With Ax, Threats To Burn In Stafford: SCSO
Four people were arrested after trying to break into an occupied home with an ax and threatening to burn it down in Stafford, says the SCSO.
STAFFORD, VA—Four people were arrested over the weekend after trying to break into an occupied home with an ax, threatening to burn it down and terrorizing and assaulting the woman inside in the 500 block of Eskimo Hill Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
- Taylor House, 21, of Stafford, was charged with assault and battery by mob, assault and battery, breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and public intoxication.
- Tina Lara, 52, of Stafford, was charged with assault and battery by mob, assault and battery, breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and public intoxication.
- Dakota Lara-Bayliss, 22, of Stafford, was charged with assault and battery by mob, breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and public intoxication.
- Taylor Kennaugh, 25, of Fredericksburg, was charged with assault and battery by mob and breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony.
The next day, Feb. 9, all four received additional charged of conspiracy to commit a felony offense, while Horse was charged with threats to bomb/burn.
On Friday night, police responded to a reported domestic incident at the aforementioned residence. A woman told police she had been assaulted and that several people were outside trying to break into the house with an ax and had threatened to burn down the home.

She said she previously received several text messages from Lara-Bayliss saying the group was coming to her home. She said was standing on her front porch when they got there, after which Lara and House assaulted her. She made it back inside and locked the door. That's when they began using the ax and threatened to burn down the home.
When police arrived, they found three women and a man standing near a vehicle. An ax was found near the front door, which had numerous dents and scuff marks on it. House quickly became belligerent, and with bloodshot eyes and wreaking of alcohol, she said they were there because of an alleged theft.

All four were arrested shortly thereafter.
