Man Arrested For Cousin's Murder In Stafford: Police
A man was arrested Thursday for the murder of his cousin last weekend at a home in Stafford, says the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA—A man was arrested Thursday night for the murder of his cousin last weekend at a home on Newton Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Matthew David Roberson, 42, of Fredericksburg, was charged with second degree murder.
Around 12:15 p.m. last Sunday, deputies went to the home for a reported unknown medical problem. Upon their arrival, a friend of Larry Dean Roberson said he knocked on the door and received no response. He found the back door unlocked, went inside, and found Roberson, 54, on the floor "suffering from obvious trauma."
He immediately left the home and called police. Roberson's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Fairfax. He died of blunt force trauma.
