Man Found Murdered In Stafford Home: Police
A man was found murdered in his home on Newton Road early Sunday afternoon, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA—A man was found murdered in his home on Newton Road early Sunday afternoon, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Larry Dean Roberson, 54, was ruled to have been the victim of a homicide. Police say they have no suspects or motive.
Around 12:15 p.m., deputies went to the home for a reported unknown medical problem. Upon their arrival, a friend of Roberson said he had knocked on the door and got no response. He found the back door unlocked, went inside, and found Roberson on the floor "suffering from obvious trauma."
He immediately left the home and called police. Roberson's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Fairfax. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-658-4400.
