New Fredericksburg Pickleball Facility To Open Oct. 19 On Plank Road

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A new indoor pickleball facility is set to open Saturday, Oct. 19, at 3700 Plank Road in Fredericksburg.

The Picklr, which was founded in Kaysville, Utah, also plans to open a pickleball facility in Williamsburg.

“The Picklr Fredericksburg, with its signature, high-contrast 'Black Box' interior, will feature nine indoor courts: two championship-size, plus one skinny-size, all with pro-quality surfacing, fully fenced and with Picklr’s exclusive, overhead sound-reducing matrix baffles,” according to a company release. “Members will have access to virtual reservations, unlimited open play, league play, tournaments, a full pro shop, and private event space.”

Players can visit The Picklr Fredericksburg to reserve a Founder’s Membership at a discounted price.
