Pedestrian Struck, Injured At Fredericksburg Convenience Store

Stafford County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who they say struck a pedestrian in a convenience store parking lot on Tuesday.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Investigators with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office are asking the public's help in identifying a man they say struck a pedestrian with his pickup truck at a Fredericksburg convenience store Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

Deputies responded around 2:26 p.m. for the report of a pedestrian being struck at the Fas Mart store at 620 Cambridge St. A preliminary investigation revealed that a man received minor injuries when he was struck by a pickup truck in the store's parking lot, the sheriff's office says.

"The suspect driver was described as a male wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and hat," according to the incident report. "He fled the scene in a white truck with a black bed cover. The suspect vehicle is believed to be either a late 90's Dodge Dakota or Dodge Ram 1500."
