Lock Your Vehicle, Thwart a Vandal
Crime information was provided by the Fredericksburg Police Department.

In a perfect world, we could leave our vehicles unlocked and our belongings unsecured without anyone taking advantage of us.Â
But criminals, police say, often simply go car-to-car trying door handles and looking for evidence of valuables.Â
That's why they recommend we always lock our vehicles, secure valuables out of sight and hide all evidence of electronic devices. This includes putting charging cords in the glove box and cleaning device holder marks from our windows. These simple steps help deter crime, police report.
