Portion of Princess Anne Street Closing on Aug. 9

The 1000 block of Princess Anne Street between Amelia Street and William Street will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 9 for the inspection of the steeple atop

A crane will be set up in the middle of Princess Anne Street; the road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

A detour will be set up to route motorists around the block during the closure.

Traffic heading towards the work zone will be detoured westbound onto Amelia Street, then southbound on Prince Edward Street, then eastbound on William Street, back to Princess Anne Street, said a release from the Fredericksburg Department of Public Works.
