Robber Demands Oxycodone Supply at Jefferson Davis Hwy CVS

A CVS pharmacist reported a seemingly armed robber who demanded the store's supply of Oxycodone and fled on foot early Wednesday morning.

An overnight CVS pharmacist reported that a male suspect approached the counter Wednesday holding a handkerchief to his face. When the pharmacist stepped forward to offer assistance, the suspect put his hand to his waist and both physically and verbally implied that he had a weapon.

The suspect then pushed his way through the swinging door dividing the customer waiting area from the restricted access section and demanded that the pharmacist turn over the store’s supply of Oxycodone from the safe. The pharmacist complied, and the man fled from the store on foot.

The incident occurred Wednesday, Aug. 13 around 6:40 a.m. at the CVS located at 591 Jefferson Davis Highway in Fredericksburg.
