Self-Serve Beer On Tap In Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Maybe you've heard of the self-service beer concept. Walk up to the tap, pour however much you desire and enjoy. Well, an area eatery recently adopted the methodology.

You can find it at Gourmeltz, the food-truck-turned brick-and-mortar restaurant at Cosner's Corner, 10013 Jefferson Davis Highway. Owned by Army veteran Matt Strickland, the restaurant is able to charge customer by the ounce, thus allowing for multiple sampling from its 15 taps.
