2 Arrested In Fatal Shooting At Fredericksburg Apartments

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Detectives with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office arrested two juvenile suspects in a fatal shooting Tuesday night in the England Run Apartments Subdivision, according to authorities.

Deputies responded around 10:56 p.m to multiple reports of a shooting in the Fredericksburg-area neighborhood. Arriving on the scene, they found a 19-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the incident report.

Three deputies began administering aid to the victim until the arrival of emergency medical personnel. Despite these efforts, the victim was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the sheriff's office. The name of the victim was not released.

"Detectives worked through the night and early morning hours collecting evidence and talking with witnesses," according to the sheriff's office. "As a result of the investigation, it was determined two shooters were involved and this was not a random act of violence. This afternoon, two juvenile suspects were arrested and charged in connection with the homicide."
