May 1 – Farmers Market at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center opening on Wednesdays, 3 - 7 p.m. The Gordon Road Market’s Saturdays seasons have begun, each Saturday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
May 3 - 5 -- 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Chancellorsville Commemorative Weekend – numerous events at www.battleofchancellorsville.com

May 10, 17 and 24 – Patriot Park Concerts in the beautiful Amphitheater, gates open each of these Fridays at 6 p.m., concerts begin at 7 p.m.; 5/10-Southern Special Band; 5/17-Sonrise; 5/24-Patsy & the Country Classics (flyer attached).
May 11 – Annual Spring Yard Sale/Craft Sale, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. until Noon in the Holbert Building Parking lot (space rentals, which benefit the United Way Local Government Campaign, still available, see attached flyer.)

May 11 – Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Collection, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Chancellor Recycling Center, 5917 Harrison Road, 22407, for Spotsylvania County residents only, proof of residency checked, Goodwill Industries recycling old computer equipment (flyer attached with details.)
