Spotsylvania Man Fatally Hit By Vehicle In Orange County: Police
A Spotsylvania man was killed Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle in Orange County, according to Virginia State Police.

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA—A Spotsylvania man was killed Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle while walking across Route 3 (Germanna Highway), according to Virginia State Police. Brett C. Stannard, 42, died at the scene.
Around 7:45 p.m., a 2005 Ford Econoline was headed east on Route 3 near Route 20 (Constitution Highway) when it hit Stannard, who was wearing all black and wasn't in a crosswalk. The driver, Eric A. Ventura, 36, of Spotsylvania, wasn't injured and remained at the scene.
