Stars and Stripes Spectacular Schedule of Events

This annual Independence Day hometown celebration on June 29 is sponsored by the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors and Spotsylvania County staff.

The ninth annual Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes Spectacular will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 29.  All activities are held from in the area of  Spotsylvania Courthouse Village, at the corner of Brock Road and Courthouse Bypass, to historic Spotsylvania Courthouse.

Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and spend the afternoon and evening.  

ENTERTAINMENT
Three stages will offer a variety of free entertainment.

Spotsylvania Courthouse Village Pavilion Stage
4:30 - 5:15 p.m. -  Will Chase, Contemporary Solo Artist
5:30 - 6:15 p.m. -  The Doug Farris Band, Five Piece Praise Band
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. - Sylvannah Baptist Church Mass Choir
7:15 - 7:45 p.m. -  Rappahannock Choral Society
7:50 - 8:50 p.m. -  Fredericksburg Community Concert Band
9:00 - Fireworks End - Mid Atlantic Wind Symphony

Sullivan, Donahoe, and Ingalls Stage, R.E. Lee Elementary School Field
4:30 - 6:30 p.m.-  The Southern Special Band
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. -  South Korea Martial Arts Team Demo
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Wil Gravatt Band

Mary Washington Health Care Stage, Holbert Building-Brock Road Side
3:00 - 3:40 p.m. and 5:30 - 6:05 p.m. -  Madison Creek
3:50 - 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 - 6:55 p.m. - Honakers
4:40 - 5:20 p.m. and 7:05 - 7:45 p.m. -  Milford Station
8:15 - 9:00 p.m. - Spotsylvanians Spotlighters

All children's activities will close at 8 p.m.  The fireworks display will begin at dark, about 9:20 p.m.
