Trump Tower Climber: 'Steve From Virginia' in Custody

Man was climbing the side of the New York building when taken into custody by New York Police.

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Somebody was making a big statement at Trump Tower on Wednesday, and it wasn't Donald Trump. It was Steve, from Virginia.

The man began climbing the Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan late Wednesday, Aug. 10, using giant suction cups. He was taken into custody shortly after 6:30 p.m.

According to CNN, the man told police that his name is Steve and he is from Virginia.
